Our Surprise Guest

At midnight I woke up hearing my name being called from the bathroom.

Jamie was whispering in a nervous voice, “Melissa… There’s a lizard in our bathroom!!”

I immediately jumped up and balanced my feet on the bed. Right when I moved, the lizard scurried across the room and hid under the couch. 

We both didn’t know what to do! And we weren’t going to be able to sleep with that little booger in our room…
