The view on my jog this morning:

We ate breakfast at out bed and breakfast, got ready for our day then planned on walking the renaissance walk. It is a pedestrian only route in the city that people can take to view the history and beauty of Florence’s old culture. We saw the Duomo (got to go inside), many beautiful piazzas and of course the shops!

And I got my first ever gelato!

Then Anna and I took a Rick Steve’s audio tour through the Uffizi. The Uffizi has the greatest overall collection of Italian paintings (and those words came from Rick Steve’s himself). It includes many sculptures, floor to ceiling art, & a beautiful view of Florence.
